We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

On Sunday 9 July 2017, myself and 12 other girls from Queen Margaret's School, York, will set off on a four day adventure to climb the three highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland. First we will tackle Mount Snowdon in North Wales, then Scafell Pike in the Lake District and finally, but by no means least, Ben Nevis in Scotland.

I will be climbing over 3,000 metres upwards, all in aid of Stroke AssociationStroke Association is important to me because in 2015, my Great Grandma had a stroke and was then unable to live independently. This lead to her moving into a home towards the end of 2015 where she later passed away that December. My family and I felt her stroke was dealt with well and by using TV advertising, people like ourselves are educated to spot the signs of a stroke sooner and subsequently seek help. I know the money I raise will be put to a good cause and help save more lives by investing in more research and TV ads.

Your donation, however big or small, will give the rest of the team and I the motivation we need to achieve this feat. Thank you for your support.
