I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Grade 2 Breast cancer in August 2016. I am one of the lucky ones as it was treatable with a full mastectomy. I have escaped very lightly and give thanks to the surgical and oncology teams that have helped me become a stronger, fitter person as a result. Sheila Fairclough has been through a similar ordeal and for a woman who I only know through my cousin in Liverpool she has been a great support to me even though we have never met. She has an insatiable zest for life and for helping other people, despite many further complications she has had to face. I feel that now I am fit enough, and 3 stone lighter than before my diagnosis, its time to say thank you  and give something back. In support for her mission to raise money please give generously and if you can be there on the day even better.
