We Support Nepalese mountain communities to improve health, education and welfare

Story

A charity event on Sunday 23rd April in Awesome Walls Dublin, climbing the height of Everest as a team, raising money for Community Action Nepal – Doug Scott's charity for Sherpas and their families who live on or below the breadline.

Aid for Nepali mountain villages has been very slow to appear in the remote regions.  It is likely that much funding has been diverted. Community Action Nepal [registered charity no.1067772] works directly with affected villagers, supporting the rebuilding of homes, health posts, porter rescue shelters and schools. Importantly, helping communities to become self sufficient.

This event is a joint event with ROKT climbing gym in Brighouse, England.
