Salaam and Hey!

So.. Iv'e took it upon myself to take part in Manchester's upcoming 10k run, hosted on May the 28th. What does this mean to me, personally? The run day coincides with Ramadhan, meaning, I'll be running whilst fasting (18-19 hours), giving me an extra challenge to prepare for. Now, in terms of physique this means I'd have to prepare rigorously and get into shape, physically and mentally. Sharpening up my stamina and agility. Bearing in mind, Iv'e never ran a kilometre continuously in my life, let a lone 10!! Something I look forward too.

Now,, participating in this run means nothing to me without you GUYS and the change this event could help nurture.. I need your support and kindness to help meet my target.. I am very confident that this target will be met easily! Syria's unrest hasn't seen a stop since the uprising. This means help and aid of all sorts is still needed. This is the slightest of ways we can contribute in reducing their suffering whilst we go about our daily lives.. So please do contribute even if it's by sharing the word!
