In 2015 I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis just before Christmas; a Christmas I thought was going to be my last due to half a year of suffering and no one knowing why. Now, just over a year after my diagnoses I struggle to live a normal life and find great difficulty in even the most mundane tasks. Therefore I'm determined to finish a 12k mud run with my brother and cousin by my side to prove to myself and others that it's still possible to overcome any challenge in our day to day lives.
