We raise money for children with cancer to improve their quality of life

Story

Led by the indefatigable head teacher Mrs Price, Team King's is running the Brighton Marathon this year in support of the Children with Cancer fund (Polgate) and Rays of Sunshine.

Both charities were established to grant the wishes of seriously ill children, both nationwide and specifically in East Sussex.. These charities have been there to support students at our school at an inconceivably difficult time.

Alongside Mrs Price stand the brave (some say foolish) team of Miss Staples, Mr Cornell and Mr Walker. Each is currently pounding the streets in preparation for the 9th April and a chance to run in this incredible event for an incredible cause.

Please support the wonderful work carried out by Children with Cancer Fund and Rays of Sunshine by donating to the King's School team page.

This page is linked to the Ray of Sunshine page; we are looking to raise £500 for both organisations.

About the charity

CWCF was set up in 1998 by Ursula & Chris Downton with Kirsty & James Denny. Now, with the help of other friends and family, we still go out having fun raising funds to grant wishes to families that live in East Sussex, Brighton & Hove and who have children that have been diagnosed with cancer.
