Story
On April 9th, I'll be running a half-marathon / 13.1 miles /21 km / around the outside of the LCR 94 times- choose a unit which resonates most with you- which may well lead to my untimely death, however it's for an amazing charity so it'll be worth it (I hope). I'm also running it with a bunch of Medics so I'm reasonably confident between them they'll be able to revive me if necessary.
If I can force my VK drinking, carb obsessed, sedentary self to train three times a week and then run the thing, you can definitely sponsor me (even £1 is much appreciated). If you're interested in taking bets on whether or not I will manage to complete this Herculean task you can kind of track my training at: https://www.strava.com/athletes/19669599
Medical Aid for Palestinians is not only MedSoc's charity of the year, but carrying out fantastic work in Palestine, providing essential health services and addressing local health crises, to a very deserving state. Read more about what they do here: https://www.map.org.uk/what-we-do/what-we-do
Wish me luck...!
