We research cures for childhood cancers to ensure that more children survive!

Story

Kidscan Children’s Cancer Research supports research into new and improved treatments for children with cancer. They fund research for more effective treatments which are less damaging to children’s bodies. They also help them through the short and long term side effects of cancer in childhood through support programmes.

To support this wonderful charity, I am part of a team participating in the University of York fundraising event, Jailbreak. On March 17th, our team of three will set off from York with the aim of travelling as far as possible in 30 hours without spending any of our own money. Our team has a space theme and will dress up as aliens on the day to attract more attention for the charity.

Our goal is to raise £120 pounds each and all the money we raise will go straight to supporting Kidscan. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our team story:

An intergalactic adventure awaits. We are three extraterrestrial beings trying to jailbreak and travel as far away from the Planet York as possible using only our stellar intellect, our magnetic charm and the spacesuits on our back. We only have 30 hours to complete our mission. Our space ship cannot leave until we have raised £360 for Kidscan. Please help us complete our mission.
We thank all you Earthlings for any contribution. You're brightening up our galaxy!
