We fund research into SMA to help find a cure and treatments

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 19th February, I will be running the 9Bar Chilly 10K, in memory of Amber Ivy and to raise money for The SMA Trust.

Amber sadly passed away from SMA Type 1 in September 2016
aged 4 months old.  The SMA Trust are dedicated to finding a cure and treatments for SMA.  Recently in America, a new drug called Spinraza
was approved as a treatment for SMA types 1-3. This is a major step forward and hopefully with the hard work of The SMA Trust, there will be a similar outcome in the UK very soon.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
