Thanks for visiting my page. The simple fact you are here means I have achieved my first goal of raising awareness of mental illness.
In 2016, I became a self confessed couch potato spending endless hours sitting down at work, studying or watching TV. As a sufferer of depression, this inactivity has undoubtably contributed to my low mood. Despite knowing the positive effects exercise has on both physical and mental aspects of health, there has been days where I haven't felt motivated enough to start the day - let alone exercise!!
However, this is about to change!! Every day of January 2017 I am going to commit to walk/run for 30 minutes every day. I'm hoping by the end of this challenge I will have adopted new habits that will aid in my recovery of depression.
