Myself and Terry wanted to do the RED January for MIND to raise money and awareness of mental illness. 1 in 4 people will experience mental illness at some point in their lives it is important that we all start talking about it. Having experienced depression and anxiety and had friends struggling to talk about eating disorders, depression and other mental illnesses we realised that we need to start talking about mental illness and breaking the taboo and stigma attached to it. Life is bloody hard and we need to start supporting each other and talking about our mental health; by beating the blues and Running Every Day of January we aim to raise money for MIND.
