Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This January I have set myself the challenge of Running Every Day (RED) in support of Mind and the excellent work they do to support those affected by mental health problems throughout the UK.
2016 was hard for so many people. So many people that I know and care about have faced mental health challenges - including some who didn't believe it would ever happen to them.
I myself have suffered with anxiety and depression, which became much worse particularly following the traumatic death of my puppy Bosley in April of last year.
For me this challenge is a win-win, as not only am I raising money and awareness for mind and their lifesaving work, but I'm also helping myself too. Even a small amount of exercise has been proven to help both phsical and psychologyical well-being (http://www.cam.ac.uk/research/news/physical-activity-even-in-small-amounts-benefits-both-physical-and-psychological-well-being).
So please support me. I would love to raise 200 pounds for mind, so please donate if you can. If you can't afford to, or don't want to donate then that's fine too - but please encourage me along the way and help me make 2017 a better year!
