Normally I am much happier being on the donating side of the charity fence rather than the money raising side . However having dealt with this issue personally and seeing the impact of mental health issues on close friends and family I do believe we need to do all we can to reduce the stigma and shame of mental health issues so people are able to talk openly about it and get the help they need.

As a 17 stone ex front row rugby player , running is not something my body is especially comfortable with or accustomed to (bar a short stint of couch to 5k this year) 

I am determined to do "some miles" each day, and promise to bore you all with regular sweaty updates ;)
