I'm self funding the challenge so all donations will go straight to Alzheimer's research, which with very little government funding, relies on supporters to help with pioneering research in order to make a difference to people's lives now and in the future. Over 850,000 people are living with dementia in the UK and this number will increase as the population rises. Dementia not only affects the sufferer but friends and family too. It's heartbreaking to see a loved one suffer in such a way  as I did with my mum. 

So if you'd like to donate to this very worthwhile charity, you'll be doing something wonderful, raising money for a fantastic cause
