Story
Ever since my Auntie Christine passed away at the Florence Nightingale Hospice, I have wanted to raise money for them, by doing some kind of event. Just because they go above and beyond with what they do there and really deserve something back.
A few years have gone by, and recently someone else that was close to me, passed away there too. This has made me want to do this even more. So instead of letting the time pass, I have arranged this skydive, with a number of colleagues/friends/family to raise as much money as we can for the Florence Nightingale Hospice.
Obviously the aim is to smash my target of £500, and I'm hoping with the friends and family around me this will be achieved.
Jumping out of a plane is a scary thought, I am ever so nervous, but I know that its for a good cause and I know that both my Auntie Christine, and Sams Nan (Nanny, Linda), will be proud of us.
A few months after Sams Nan passed away we have recently lost Sams Gramp. This was a shock to everyone and he would really be proud of us all for doing this (and think we're all mad).
Remembering: Auntie Christine, Nanny (Linda), Gramp (Bruce), my Nan and Gramp... thinking of you all always. Shine bright x
