Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Some of you might have heard about Hannah Francis, a talented young eventer who was diagnosed with bone cancer. Hannah put up a very brave fight but unfortunately passed away in August 2016.

During her fight, Hannah set up the Wilberry Wonderpony Charity to
raise money for bone cancer research and to help grant young people who are seriously ill, their dreams of the equine nature.

Inspiring people up and down the country, the Wobbleberry movement developed.
Desgined to get peeople taking part in a BE80 event and raise money for
Wilberry too.The idea was to encourage non competivie or very non
confident riders to take part in the challenge.

As it happens I am one of them! My confidence is my (almost) showstopper but I'm taking part in this challenge to prove to myself I can do it and do it for a brilliant cause.

To the best of my knowledge, I am the only Wobbleberry in Gwynedd (eek).

My aim is Kelsall Hill in September 2017 and I have plenty of work to do before then.

About the charity

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.
