Events like these are a great opportunities to raise money for a local charity who would have cared or are caring for our family and friends. Selfishly it also offers myself and my friends at DST the opportunity to run in one of the great world marathons and I will be looking to enjoy every second of it. (That includes the cold, wet, dark training nights pounding the tarmac mile after mile...cue the violin!!! 🎻).
