I was diagnosed with MS 13 years ago. Since my diagnosis, there are lots of things I am no longer able to do - running around the park like a lunatic with my son; going swimming with the family; dancing the night away with my friends on a night out to name a few. The opportunity of doing this abseil helps me to remember that there are things I am still able to do, and raising money for my local MS group was a no brainer! The local group help me to do yoga, exercise group with physio and other social activities with other MS sufferers as well as a few wonderful helpers who don't suffer! If abseiling the tower helps to raise money for them, it's the least I can do.
