Woo Hoo, I'm a Wobbleberry and I have chosen to take part in this challenge for two reasons.  

Hannah's story inspired me due to her courage and tenacity.  She was taken too young by bone cancer but her legacy lives on in the phenomenal support she still receives for her cause, and the encouragement she gives to oldies like me even after her death.   

Like Hannah, horses are a life love for me and taking part in a British Eventing 80cm course is an ambition I never thought I would be able to meet.  The three phases of this competition will each have their own challenges for my horse and I.  Stella is my little pocket rocket. She is a beautiful black 14'3" Welsh Section D x Warmblood, and at 17 years old is a very talented old bag! 

On the day of the challenge dressage is first on the list and, whilst I am fairly competent, Stella really doesn't like it, so keeping her calm and focused will be a challenge within a challenge.  Show Jumping is something we both enjoy but so far our maximum competition height has been 65cm. Pushing this to 80cm will take some time and practice for me.  Stella is more than capable, it will be keeping me calm and focused during this phase that poses the challenge!  Finally the XC phase of the day will be a test for both of us.  Ditches, steps and water are just three of the words which fill me with a mixture of fear and anticipation and just typing those words brings on a nervous feeling!

I am hoping for two outcomes for this challenge to go with my two reasons.  One, raise a minimum of £1000 for Hannah's Willberry Wonder Pony charity and two, complete the incredible personal challenge ahead of Stella and I.   You can help me with one by donating to my just giving page and two, your support and encouragement for both Stella and I will help us to finish the task ahead.
