Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Saturday 15th October, Jenna Biddulph, Lucy Rook, Fran Silcocks, Katie Harris, Hayley Blower, Rachel Ellis, Molly Rook and I will be doing a 4K mud run.  This is in memory of beautiful Amber Ivy and to raise money for The SMA Trust.

Hayley gave birth to beautiful Amber on 16th May 2016.
Amber was diagnosed with SMA Type 1 at just 8 weeks old.  She sadly passed away from this condition aged just 4 months old on 16th September 2016.

Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) is an inherited progressive neuromuscular condition that in its most severe form is the leading genetic cause of death in children under 2.  The SMA Trust are dedicated to finding a cure and treatments for SMA, and funds over 75% of UK charity-funded SMA research and is entirely dependent on voluntary donations.

Please sponsor us to help raise funds for the important work that The SMA Trust do.
