Story

Hiya,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm raising money to help build a much needed new theatre for the Stevenage Lytton Players. The current theatre has been standing for almost 50 years and a new theatre has been sought after for years to provide the arts to the town of Stevenage. We currently have many plays each year and fabulous musicals with members from the age of 8 all the way to 100. Recent performances have included Twelfth Night, Noises Off, Jesus Christ Superstar and in 2017 our Lytton Youth will be performing the amazing James and the Giant Peach.

I am planning to help by asking for your donations to my page and challenging myself depending on the amount raised. My initial goal is £1,000, but it would be fantastic to raise £5k for this great.

My challenge is to complete our Lytton Heptathlon! Seven feats of endurance to be undertaken by the end of September 2017, including: walking; running; swimming; cycling; climbing; falling and eating.

For example, if I raise my goal of £1,000, I will:

Walk from Stevenage to Big Ben,

Run the Great North Run,

Cycle 60 miles,

Swim 40 lengths,

Climb the Yorkshire three peaks,

Fall from a plane in a skydive, and

Eat 1 meter's worth of pizza.

The full details are in the picture on my page. I am raising until April to get the feats so please support as best you can!

Also this month, for every donation placed you will have the chance to take part in our online quiz (created by myself, Andreas), with the coveted prize of being top of our leaderboard with all the glory and bragging rights that brings.

The Game's Afoot

In this challenge our Lytton Olympians need your help to solve the riddles of Lytton Manor. We are asking you, to help us rebuild our theatre, by making a donation to our page. If you decide to make a donation you may also wish to help solve the riddles of Lytton Manor by following the link to the "Lytton Manor" challenge. Once there you will be asked to solve a number of puzzles and when completed your name will appear on the leaderboard. The Olympian who has the donation from the person at the top of leaderboard at the end of the challenge will be declared the winner.

Please note the link will only be shown on the thank you message after you have made your donation - please make a note or copy and paste it. If you have any problems with this challenge please email olympians@lyttonplayers.co.uk.

Many thanks in advance for all your donations.

Andreas
