Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In just 48 hours I along with Ben Hobson will be driving a 46 year old Triumph from London to John 'O' Groats - then to Lands End and then back to London (over 2000 miles). This is none stop drive and whilst one of us is driving the other will need to sleep, but it is bumpy, draughty, cold and very noisy! The car is not like a modern car and has no power steering, power brakes or sound deadening and is, as a result, quite/very tiring over any distance. We will be fuelled on our way by ginsters pasties, biscuits and pro plus. I am keen to know which one of us break first, the car, me or Hobson! Lets just hope we make it to the start line from Sheffield! All costs of doing the event are down to the owners.

The event is done every 2 years for charity and has been going for over 50 years it has raised money for many charities. This year we have decided to support guide dogs which I am sure everyone will agree is a great charity. So as I am doing this this it would be great to raise some cash for a great cause. So any contribution is graciously received with my thanks.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
