Story

Thanks for visiting the Swindon and District Wargames Club 24 Hour Challenge team fundraising page for Prospect Hospice.

On 29th and 30th October 2016, the members of SAD Wargames will be running a marathon 24 hour gaming session in support of 'Prospect Hospice'.

Prospect Hospice

It is a sad fact of life that we will all one day pass on. For some it will be sudden, for others it will be a long process where small comforts can mean a lot.

Prospect Hospice seeks to provide that comfort to patients in their final days by providing excellent medical care, coupled with kindness and dignity to ensure that those facing the end of their lives will be able to do so as comfortably as possible.

The Day

Saturday 29th/ Sunday 30th October

  • Challenge starts at 9am.
  • Doors open to public at 10am Saturday.
  • Painting competitions.
  • Midnight Wargames quiz.

And yes, we're also doing this on the day the clocks change, so it'll actually be 25 hours courtesy of day light saving time!
