Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Celebrating 50 years since the first RBRR, 2016 is going to be a special year. It is also my 10th run, so far 100% success rate!

For those not in the know, the RBRR is the Club Triumph round Britain Reliability Run. Using Classic Triumph cars, the route is from Knebworth-John-O'Groats-Lands End-London, some 2000 miles in 48 hours.

This year there should be approx 150 cars taking part in this event road run, and our aim is to collectively raise as much money as possible for the Guide Dogs For the Blind, which is our chosen charity to support this year.

This year, my intrepid co-pilot Bradley Lourens and I, will be doing the run in Libby, my newly restored Triumph Stag Estate. It is interesting to note the so far, since the restoration was finished I haven't quite put 2000 miles on Libby yet, so the RBRR will be putting more miles on this fresh built car than it already has on it.............. worried? Not a bit! We know we did this one right and we all have every faith in her and our skills!!

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
