Did you know Stockdales has been helping people with learning disabilities and life-limiting conditions for 63 years? That's a long time! If you don't have a learning disability, there will be many things you'll take for granted. Getting up, washed and dressed, going to the shops, catching public transport, going to college/uni/work - they'll probably come pretty naturally to you.

But can you imagine if you couldn't do those things without help? You'd rely on that help right? And you'd want encouragement to become more independent and do the things you're able to and to try out stuff you never thought possible?

That's how Stockdales help. They are dedicated to supporting over 200 children, young people and adults and their families and carers every year. They help with the day-to-day stuff in the four residential houses they run and in people's own homes. They also run a whole host of activities so people can learn. Plus they help with the social side of things too: evening clubs, trips out and holidays away.

So dig deep for this inspirational cause and help them with their work.
