We have Support, Awareness & Research aims to improve the lives of those with alopecia

Story

I am raising money for the charity, Alopecia UK, by running Total Warrior 2016 (10k obstacle course with mud, ice, fire, electric shocks and probably a bit more mud!).

Alopecia is the general medical term for hair loss, of which there are many different types.  Over the last couple of years I have gotten to know quite a lot about alopecia and the massive impact it can have on people.  I have also seen and helped out with the brilliant work that Alopecia UK do.  While not damaging to physical health, hair loss can have a huge impact on quality of life and emotional health through its impact on confidence and self-esteem.  Alopecia UK is a small charity with only two members of staff who work tirelessly to help people with alopecia (I know this because Jen is one of them and she never stops!).

Please show your support, any amount you can sponsor me will be greatly appreciated!

Alternatively, text 'PCTW75' followed by an amount to 70070, to donate via mobile.
