Story

Each year TEAMKC participates in the Ride100 in memory of Kris Cook.

On August the 10th 2014, Kris died suddenly due to a cardiac arrest whilst climbing Newland's Corner with his life partner Nicola Tait and friend Lucy Parker.

Kris was only 36 years old. He had an undetected heart condition.

Losing Kris will stay with his friends & family forever - the pain never goes away.

Please support the team as they head out again on the 31st of July and cycle in his memory along the route.

Many thanks for your continued support.

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
