Far too much avoidable blindness in the world, and as part of the Vision 2020 global campaign, Optometry for Sight is running this event to help us make a difference. Please support us if you can.

We're tandem cycling 87 miles/140Km from Keswick on the 28th August, up some mega hills, George piloting and Brian stoking, hopefully not having to resort to the Froomy method of getting to the top of a hill, .... running without a bike.

George makes a difference every day, in his job as a professional optometrist, and to me so often as my eyes on the tandem, as I'm blind, so he helps me to do the impossible in cycling alone, but together and with some sponsored support, we hope to jointly make a difference to those in less developed countries, where a simple eye test can help avoid blindness.
