Watching the bombing of Gaza by Israel in 2014, seeing the destruction of schools, hospitals and homes, affected me very strongly. My Facebook is re-filled everyday with pictures of wounded, starving or murdered children. The hospitals and clinics destroyed have for the large part, not been rebuilt. And I have been looking for a way to be engaged. Recently I came across M.A.P., or 'Medical Aid for Palestine ( http://www.map-uk.org/) a UK charity funding medical projects in Palestine, through events in UK and in Palestine. I researched the charity, and am totally impressed with their projects; and have now been accepted for the Bicycle Palestine project!
