Thank you for joining us in 'Just Giving' so many people the gift of sight, and thank you to everyone who sponsored our cycling challenge last year.

This is our 3rd year of Cycling for Sight. Last year my team of amateur cycling buddies took on the Tour de France 1st stage in the Yorkshire Dales, and raised an amazing £3,572 for the charity. Brian, Dan & Lesley are joining me again, and this year I am absolutely delighted to welcome Nikki and Jess to the team.

On August bank holiday Sunday (28th August) our Team challenge will be to climb more than 10,000 feet of hills over 89 road miles of our spectacular Lake District in Cumbria. If you have ever driven a car in the Lakes, you will know just how steep and how challenging this will be.
