I'm taking part in the Great North Run Half Marathon on the 11th September,as well as taking part in the Yorkshire Warrior on the 24th September along with me work colleagues at Synergy Automotive.

Please help me in raising as much money as possible for an amazing local cause - The Rainbow Fund in Harrogate.

The fund is a group of Mum's (and a Dad) in the Harrogate area.  They all have children who have been helped in one way or another by the wonderful staff at Harrogate Hospital and we want to say thank you, to help them be all that they try to be... to give a little back by way of appreciation.

Their targets this year are:

SCBU - £33,343.00 for the new transport incubator

SCBU - £12,000.00 for a new vital signs monitor

Children's Outpatients Department - £26,780 for numerous items of medical equipment and the creation of a 5th consulting room so the department can see 20% more patients a year and reduce waiting times

Children's Outpatients Department - £25,000 for the full the refurbishment of the department, providing games and interactive activities to engage children

Woodland's Children's Ward - £12,000.00 for a new vital signs monitor
