Story
Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On September 11th 2016 I will be abseiling from the 32nd floor of The Broadgate Tower, the 5th tallest building in London, at a height of 165m (541ft). I'm doing this because I'm a bit of a dare-devil and also to support a great cause. This is also in the spirit of the core values and ethics of the Ricoh Family and team Infinity & Beyond: www.justgiving.com/teams/infinityandbeyond
As you may already know, BBC Children In Need is a charity which helps change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. Projects include supporting young people affected by homelessless, neglect, poverty and those encountering a serious illness or bereavement. Last year, the charity raised £55 million from public donations, the highest ever amount raised by the charity since its inception in 1927. BBC Children In Need has helped make a positive impact on 480,000 young lives nationwide in 2015. This is a cause which, especially during these times of austerity, is at the forefront of many peoples' minds and I am proud to be making a difference to those who need our help the most. So, please give generously and support me in my dreams of becoming the next 'Spider-woman'. Feel free to come along on September 11th to laugh/watch in awe/cry at my efforts... timeslot yet to be confirmed but I will provide an update when I know more. Team Infinity & Beyond need you!
