I am taking part in the Ullswater Ultra Challenge on Saturday 20th August 2016.

We will be starting at Patterdale hike up Helvellyn, one of England's highest peaks, ascending via the stunning ridge line scramble on Striding Edge and descending by the equally stunning and airy SwirralEdge.  Ascent - 810m, distance - 11.5km

We will then be swapping our walking boots for a seat in a
sea kayak and start out on a 12km multi-adventure journey on Ullswater

We will stop off at a variety of locations along the
Ullswater shore line to do, an abseil before getting back into your sea kayak to complete the journey to the finish point

We are doing this for our chosen charity EducAid. They
run an educational network comprising of free schools, teacher training, and tertiary programmes in Sierra Leone. They provide distinctive, personalised, top-quality, holistic education and support to vulnerable young Sierra Leoneans.

By reaching our target we will be able to provide Education, food and medical care for 20 pupils for one whole year.
