As many of you know I have ridden the Fireflies tour several times now. So why am I riding again? Simple really:

Cancer isn't going away... 

In fact it's getting closer. 

As I reach a 'certain age' I can see its spectre looming hard amongst my Family and Friends. During the course of the last 12 months many of my closest ones have been affected by this terrible disease and Im damn sure that isn't going to end unless we keep trying to do something about it. The Fireflies Tour isn't much - a few hardy idiots suffering for a week  - but at least its a small cry of defiance. We know for a fact that research into Blood Cancers holds the 'Golden Key' into the cure for all Cancers, so we have to help how we can.

I still ride in memory of my Dad. I wont forget how he suffered, please help me to do something to stop it happening to your loved ones - or you.
