We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

After a 4 year break, I'm crazy enough to be back to take part in my 6th epic 1,000km Fireflies Ride. The ride, in June this year, is from Geneva to Cannes and is a gruelling trip over the Alps, climbing up and over 3-4 huge mountains every day.  We spend 7 long days in the saddle tackling some of Europe's toughest and highest mountain passes, climbing over 80,000ft.

Words can't describe just how tough this ride is.  But it is no way near as tough as fighting blood cancer.

We ride to raise much needed support for Bloodwise the UK’s specialist blood cancer charity who fund world-class research and offer expert information and support to anyone affected by leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood cancer related disorders.

THE RIDE IS NOT A JOLLY - it's financed by the riders – I pay for my own flights, support, food...wine(?) – ALL YOUR DONATIONS GO DIRECT TO BLOODWISE.

I'm more determined than ever to raise money and awareness for Bloodwise's work and ask you to please dig deep to support them and sponsor my ride.  I need you to make all those freezing training rides in the snow this Winter worth it!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many thanks for your support.

Paul

P.s. It's really, really, really, f*cking hard, so give me your f*cking money!
