Story
Charlotte's Story...........
Charlotte is 4 years old and was born 8 weeks early. She had a bleed on the brain which was found shortly after birth and which has caused quadriplegic cerebral palsy.
Having moved from hospital to hospital and had lots of feeding difficulties, resulting in having to have a gastrostomy tube fitted to help her feed.
It has been devastating for her mum and dad to watch Charlotte unable to play with her twin brother, running around and getting into mischief. Her arms and legs are very stiff and this makes it very difficult for her to control. Her mum and dad are trying to help in every way they can and do lots of physiotherapy together everyday and a targeted training program to help Charlotte improve her sitting balance.
There is hope though and this is where I need your help. You can make a life-changing difference easily and quickly.
Charlotte's mum and dad have been researching an operation which will help me in the USA called SDR, at St Louis children's hospital where Dr Park has specialised in this field for over 25years and has helped thousands of children to walk. Their aim is to raise funds to enable them to take Charlotte and benefit from this operation and give her the opportunity to walk.
