Hello, and welcome to my Heavy Metal Truants Just Giving Page. 

I am taking part in a ride from London to the Download Festival at Donnington Park, Derbyshire on the 8th - 10th June 2016.

Thats 161 miles of undulating roads through the British Countryside. This is the first time that i have ever tried to acheive anything like this and am looking forward to the challenge.

The 3 charities that will benefit from this fundraising are Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust, and Childline.  Last year the team raised in excess of £70,000 so, this year lets raise even more. All sponsorship will be paid to Nordoff Robbins and the the proceeds will be shared equally between the 3 charities.

It’s about more than just cycling. It’s about the brother and sisterhood of metal cycling to raise money for some very worthy causes – in this case split between Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust, and Childline – to raise money for kids who need help. We’re doing that by putting our pedals to the metal with the great and good of the music industry – agents, managers, promoters, publicists, record labels, media organisations, and artists alike for a gruelling 161-mile bicycle ride leaving early from Alexandra Palace in North London on June 8th and arriving at Download Festival around midday on June 10th, just in time to see some bands.
