Alopecia UK are a fantastic small charity who provide a brilliant support network for those suffering from alopecia and work extremely hard to provide information and build awareness. They rely on your kind donations to continue doing so.

A group of us bald beauties decided it would be a great idea to attempt the Total Warrior course as a way to mark International Alopecia Awareness Day (Saturday 6th August 2016). It involves ice, fire, heights, electric shocks, tunnels, copious amounts of mud, and a nice little waiver stating the following:

'I understand that participating in Total Warrior is an extreme test of my physical and mental limits that carries with it inherent risks of physical injury that cannot be eliminated completely, including but not limited to an above-average risk of death and/or serious injury'

If that's not worth a few quid I don't know what is!
