Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
What am I doing?
On the 29th July 2016 I will don a pair of cycling shorts and learn how to ride a bike again, joining friends and colleagues in team Chapter IX for the UK Police Unity tour 2016.
On the 29th, riders including myself will leave Leicester and set off on a three day cycle ride across the countryside covering 180 miles. Remember what I said above, I'm a novice at this.... On the final day we will join other riders from across the country and cycle together to the National Police Memorial Alrewas, Staffordshire and attend the rememberence service.
All riders will cycle in memory of a fallen officer. This year I will cycle in memory of Leicestershire officer
PC Nicholas Archer who died on 22nd April 1984 when he was hit by a car on crowd control duty.
