Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 4th September I will be cycling 75 miles for Breast Cancer Research at The University of Nottingham.

Managing breast cancer and its consequences for patients is an increasingly pressing challenge. Every year nearly 58,000 people are
diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK and 1 in 8 women will develop
breast cancer in their lifetime.

The University of Nottingham aim to raise £1,000,000 to detect cancer early, stop cancer from spreading and develop personalised treatments for cancer sufferers.Nottingham is home to the world’s first blood test to detect lung cancer and the research platform is now ready to target breast and other solid cancers.

With our Breast Cancer Research Team of the Year in place, we are ready to make a genuine difference in combating this disease and developing effective treatment for cancer sufferers.
