We provide support to children & families to improve their experience of CHD

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

KTBC member Bryan Lear & his wife Karen tragically lost their
beautiful boy Harvey in 2011, we have undertaken a number of cycling challenges
to raise money in his name for local children’s charities annually ever since.
This has led us to be closely connected to a fantastic charity called
KEEPTHEBEAT. This charity was founded by another Rider, Adam Tansey & his
wife Annita, to assist families affected by congenital heart defects. We have
seen, through the fundraising, the excellent work KeepTheBeat are doing to not
only provide lifesaving equipment but to also assist families through their
difficult times.

This year we are undertaking the Run2theSun. This is to ride
300 miles from Burbage in Leicestershire to Watergate Bay in Cornwall on July 2.
This on its own would be a significant challenge but we have decided to do it as
close to 24 hours as is possible and will involve cycling through the night and
stopping only to eat and drink. We have
30 riders signed up to what is our biggest challenge yet and we would be
extremely grateful for any support you can give.
