We support young people to give them a great start into work

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Sunday 22nd May 2016, 54 members of University of Manchester Women's Hockey Club will be running in the Great Manchester Run. Our fundraising efforts will go towards to our club sponsor's, Ernst Young's Foundation.

The EY foundation helps young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, find alternative routes into employment and education, or even set up a business.

The EY foundation purpose is to inspire and engage young people across the UK who are disadvantaged in the labour market and to support entrepreneurs, from social entrepreneurs to start-ups, to develop and grow their businesses.

About the charity

We want to give young people in the UK a great start to their working lives. And get employers working harder for young people. Our mission: to work with disadvantaged young people, employers and social entrepreneurs to create and support pathways into education, employment and enterprise.
