We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

So I am running the Race for Life again this year but with a little twist - a muddy 5k obstacle race! I am participating on behalf of all my family and friends who have beaten, are currently fighting or have lost their fight to cancer. Myself and 'The Pink Ladies' from all over Watford/Bushey will be raising money over the next few months for this brilliant cause and hopefully holding a few fundraising events along the way!

In particular, I will be running in memory of my Dad, Anthony Grant. My Dad was first diagnosed with oesophageal cancer that had spread to his liver in May 2013. Despite numerous cycles of chemotherapy and a session of radiotherapy, he sadly lost his battle in April 2014. My Dad was an amazing father, son, brother and friend, who is missed every single day. He is my motivation to take this opportunity to raise money for a charity that might help to beat cancer one day. No one should have to go through what my family, as well as many others, have been through.

Please donate to help fund further research into the biology of cancer, as well as cancer treatment. Sponsor us now, and help us show cancer that hell hath no fury like women in pink! We appreciate all donations, large and small, so thank you in advance for your generosity.

Don't forget to add Gift Aid

If you're a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no extra cost to you.
