Funny how your family can rope you into something, yet when you sit down and think about it you know why you said yes.  Which is why I said yes to the "TheWelsh1000walk".   That same persuasive family are now looking after one of the same person who is a dad, husband, brother, granddad, father-in-law, uncle, friend and a person in their own right.  It just so happens that person has dementia, yet he still doesn't stop being somebody to someone.   To me he's my uncle.    I've seen first hand the brilliant work the Alzheimer's Society do not only for someone with dementia but for their carers too.   I'm really proud to be walking for somebody who is someone.
