Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
I've played violin for 12 years, piano for 6 years and some other instruments occasionally, but I though that wasn't quite enough. The Grade1athon event was a perfect way to get myself to learning a new instrument, whilst doing a good thing for charity! I decided to take this amazing opportunity to raise money for the Oxfam charity, which for years tackles to end the poverty. My part in this, is to learn a completely new (and one of the hardest) instruments! Trumpet. I will undertake a professional ABRSM Grade 1 Trumpet exam in April 2016.
I always wanted to be able to play the trumpet and thought it would be easy-peasy, but I was truly mistaken! If that does not persuade you, I will post some progress videos, where you can see the struggle!
