The aim of the run is to raise funds for the development of Naked Heart early intervention services — i.e. the creation of a network of free support services for families raising children under 6 with disabilities. The support services, which are based on up-to-date, proven, psychological, pedagogical and medical approaches, will be permanently available to more than 300 families and will help children with disabilities integrate into society and enjoy future success.

The Foundation’s programmes help children with special needs prepare for kindergarten and school and give them the chance to enjoy the same living conditions as their typically developing peers, make friends and learn new things. Such services not only give parents more confidence but also teach them how they can help their own children.
