Hi all,

iv decided to try and raise an awesome amount of money for Bloodwise, a leukaemia charity.. Please have a read and if you feel like donating then great!!! :)))

Im arranging a few people to do a skydive and hopefully between us, raise upwards of £6,000.. There will be 10 of us jumping out of a plane all for leukaemia. Myself and another jumper have decided to cycle to Nottingham too as part of the challenge which is 80 miles away, about 6 hours of cycling before we jump about 12,000 feet from the sky! I will be doing all sorts beforehand to try and get contributions towards such a great charity!

My story

When I was 9 years old my mother passed away after a long battle with Leukaemia, at the time I didn't really understand I just remember it being explained that there were little red and white blood cells battling it out inside her! It was hard to accept when you were at school and others were talking about their parents and there was me staying quiet, but over the years it's just become one of those things, one of them cards that life deals you.. Others have had it 100x worse! 


Fast forward 20 plus years, My little cousin Ceri on the same side of the family, also lost her battle to leukaemia. Ceri was such the life and soul of any party and was so full of energy, to see someone that positive and full of life in the hospital bed because of leukaemia made me feel I had to do something, so each year Iv been fundraising with different people and thought I would use my influence of being a fireman with a big red fire truck to do some collecting and hopefully raise money for this amazing charity...
