Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Speirs Family are joining hundreds of other St Georges School families to run the Great Curry Run 2016, which is raising money for The Soldier's Charity and ELOH (Elizabeth's Legacy of Hope).  ELOH, the charity we have chosen to donate to, is a charity set up by a local family involved in a road traffic accident which led to the loss of one life and a young child losing a limb. This has led them to a highly successful national campaign to raise funds for prosthetic limbs for children in Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Liberia and India.  The charity supports over 300 children and has also supported the training of a surgeon in Tanzania who has treated over a thousand young people).

Every donation, however small, will help us to reach our target of £300.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

We provide life-changing support for children who have lost limbs through war, accidents, and lack of access to medical care. ELoH provides new limbs, surgery, education, and advocacy for the world's most vulnerable amputees. We believe all child amputees deserve to live a happy and healthy life.
