Thank you for expressing your interest in the charity abseil event on Saturday 9th April 2016. As I am sure you are aware, this event is to raise money in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, under the fund raising conducted in memory of Milan Patel, a local 14 year old boy who passed away in March 2015, after a three year battle with cancer. Teenage Cancer Trust were of great support to Milan, his family and friends. As such we have set up a fund raising group to raise money for the charity and others that supported Milan under the heading #InspiredbyMilanPatel. To date the group have raised over £27,800, and we are hoping this event will help us break the £30,000 barrier.

The event is organised by Milan’s football club, Kenilworth Wardens, in partnership with Kenilworth Chamber of Trade, The Worthies and The Holiday Inn, we are very grateful for their support.
