Once Again I am going to attempt to drive around Britain in a weekend for a Very worthy Cause ! 

This will be my 3rd time around, having successfully completed the previous 2 events ! 

My  Co Driver is again Doug Jensen, a fellow Triumph owner from Utah, via Kentucky! 

We will be driving my  1967 Triumph GT6 ,. Which I have now owned for 16yrs .

The Event is very special!   First ran in 1966,  with this year being its 50th year !  Also it will be my 50th year, and also the 50th year of the GT6 !! 

Starting in North London on a Fri evening,. A field of over 100 Triumph cars will drive right up to Jon O Groats,arriving for breakfast on Saturday morning, then it's south all the way to Lands End for Sunday morning breakfast, followed by driving back up to Knebworth house in time for the finish Sunday evening.Along the route there are various Control stops manned by Marshals to sign you in and out. 

Over 2000 miles in 48 hrs in an old Car !  Phew .
